Collaboration in the Three Domains
This online community is designed as a space for those interested in the Community of Inquiry theoretical framework. It is an online space for researchers, practitioners, and students to come together in order to come together, communicate, share ideas, a further advance the body of knowledge on this topic. This site and community anyone else with a genuine interest in the field.

The site has two main roles - a public facing portion devoted to information on the framework, general discussions, events, and the like. The members-only section is a space where individuals can come together to discuss research ideas and plan events.

ABOUT
The eCoI community is a collection of over 7000 researchers, practitioners, and students from across the globe dedicated to research into the Community of Inquiry theoretical framework and its application in teaching and learning in higher education, K-12, training and development, and lifelong learning
.
The role of the community is to share and collaborate with others interested in expanding the body of knowledge. The website is the virtual home to the community and exists as a means to connect with others, share ideas, and communicate ideas.
As a 501(c) non-profit organization, the community relies on funding from charitable organizations including the Douglas J Koch and Javier Dominguez Foundation, the Pepito Foundation for Canine Research and Practice, the Coqui Charitable Foundation, and from ongoing grants from U.S. Department of Education. The organization is also supported by member academic institutions which host its annual conference.
